xenobio hostile containment area

Postby warbrand2 » Fri Sep 18, 2015 5:58 pm

the basic concept

give xenobiology a lab which is connected to the station only through a bridge and vent system, in said lab there is four containment cells and a large amount of lab equipment. the reason for this lab is in a smart fridge on the north side of the lab, that fridge contains eggs from hostile creatures, which xenobio can raise and attempt to tame.

what the room would contain

4x hostile containment cells, these cells are equipped with a sprayer which can fill the room with knockout, or poison gas, they also have teh ability to space what ever is in them if needed (doing so locks down the hole lab)
1x medical supply cabinet
1x smart fridge (contains 2x space carp eggs)
1x surgery table, used for dissecting creatures.
1x security alarm, plays an automated message telling sec ot get their asses to xenobio (think standard xenobio needs this)
6x animal crates[empty], used to transport the stunned tamed animals.
1x monkey cube dispenser, (reskined vending machine? holds 20x monkey cubes)

purpose of area, raise a hostile creature, tame it, send on cargo shuttle ot cent com for money can caro supply points.

how this would work

step one: raise creature from egg, take egg from smart fridge put in containment cell enject with plasma get the hell out of the cell.

step two: tame creature, feed it many times, and be in the cell as it eats or just be out side the cell for a prolonged period of time. note this is only first stage tame

step three: familiarize creature with "humans" use unmonkeys and food to teach it that humans are not food. (put a few unmonkeys outside teh cell and feed, requires a few feedings, test by putting unmonkey in cell if attacks not tame)

step four: sedate and crate, simple step each cell has a knockout gas, which with a push of a button will knock out the creature in it. once knocked out just drag it into a creature crate shut it and lock it.

step five: deliver to cargo to send to centcom, there you are now done, just make sure cargo doesn't open the crate.

creatures that's eggs are in the area (just giving the easiest and second hardest creature... will require more ideas. yeah to much detail as it is)

space carp (mob only)
info: easiest to raise and tame, just put egg in containment cell enject with plasma wait a few minutes for it to hatch, then feed monkeys. like the slimes this is your base creature for research, the space carp is the easiest to tame just sit in the cell as it maws a monkey to death, once that is done every few feedings it will lay eggs. these eggs are then mutated to create the other 3 creatures you can raise and tame.

uses
1. used for meat in kitchen, is a bit tastier then monkey
2. used for eggs which can be mutated

deathclaw (mob/whitelist player)
info: one of the harder creatures to tame, this one requires you to feed it a lot in order to just get past step two. the deathclaw also is the most likely to try and break out, and if not constantly eating will get angry and try to break out, once you finish step three though it will slow down its anger and not require constant monkeys.

uses
just sent to cargo

vore mob
this is a vore mob and can eat the lab techs if it is angry and they are in its cage, as such it is also a player controlled RP mob, which can work like a dionia when the egg is placed. (white list?)
I think to much.

disclaimer: Unless I cuss, I am generally not meaning to be hostile.
