Spoiler tags on ferals

Having to put spoiler tags on feral art in the vore channel has been a rule for basically forever. However for some reason its only starting to really get enforced now.

Personally? I think it needs to go, or at the very least have a better definition.

The way its defined is just too vague, there is a huge grey area with this stuff. Like where even is the cutoff for feral? Are things like dragons still okay? What if its an anthro cat eating a feral mouse?

A HUGE chunk of vore content is now detestably supposed to be hidden behind spoiler tags and given a text description. This is a headache for me personally, and I feel like this rule creates more problems then it fixes.

So I want to hear some opposing thoughts on this! Should the rule stay as is?

i honestly didnt even know this rule was a thing

its pretty vague to be honest as well, but personally i dont give a damn about it
does a creature that walks on 4 legs automatically make it feral? i posted a pic earlier that had a dragon and a horse bellybumping into each other with full bellies, who says the two aren't on the same level on intelligence? what makes them an actual animal or an intelligent creature like smaug?

As the rule appears to be to counter any possible accusations of zoophilia, it should be worded approprietly. Feral is a wide term, it can be applied to JUST bodytype, JUST level of intelligence or BOTH, depending on who you ask and the context in which you ask. The rules should clarify that specifically last case and specifically the sexual context should be covered. Because let's be honest, majority of community is okay with feral as a bodytype and majority of community is okay with feral behavior in humanoids. But both is where line is drawn for many. The people that complain in first two cases are triggered kinkshamers.

The only reason I can see this rule actually being there is because of Discords ToS.... but honestly just cause its spoiler tagged doesnt mean it's not being posted. It's silly to think that a person investigating a potential breach of ToS actually would differentiate the two. Now putting away all legalities and just focusing on the part of other users wishes; Someone asking to censor just basic soft vore cause it involved a snake or some other common vore animal cause of 'zoophilia' is missing the point of the server entirely, it would be on par with me telling Bites to spoiler his samesize vore cause of obesity.

Is this a "policy thread about a specific incident" episode, because honestly the last thing that we deleted for cringe and had people crying censorship about ferals wasn't a "feral" character in the sense of Seraph, who is 4-legged but still clearly of age and sapience, but an animation of some dude CVing an actual cat so no shit there were people that weren't okay with seeing that.

Eh, this was less about the cat incident and more about the response to it.

As in, a sudden crackdown on the feral rule, and people suddenly pointing fairly normal things out as "feral".

I pushed for the discussion to prevent future headaches, and now that Demicus added a definition, we HOPEFULLY won't have any more problems with it!

The harsh crackdown is because people keep ignoring it and you can no longer be trusted to moderate it yourselves. We are making a big deal about it so people recognize that the rule exists and it is being enforced.

If it looks like an animal, not an anthro, usually walking on all fours, then it's feral.

This is not a difficult definition to comprehend. The only people confused by it are the people who don't want to obey it. It's the loli argument all over again where people argued it's not underage porn if the prepubescent child is actually a 1000 year old demigod or something. We don't care. If it looks like a child, it's a fucking child.

Ergo, if it looks feral, it's fucking feral. Hell this should be even more easy to differentiate than the last scenario because sometimes mature looking characters turn out to actually be 12 or something.

If it's really that bad of a headache to put a few bar brackets around your post or click the spoiler button then it sounds like you've got bigger problems.
