So, taking lessons from the last three storylines, I am trying something new with this one. I don't want to give too many details but I want to respond to criticisms of the last events so you guys know I am listening (at least to those of you who directly bring it to my attention, or other admins).
What I will tell you is I'm trying to make it as open-ended as possible, and make real consequences for doing things badly. One of the chief complaints about the Nazi storyline was how the crew couldn't save Chase near its end. I designed the very map to make it impossible to save him, but also discouraged taking chems or explosives onto the ship they were raiding because I knew they wouldn't work. Still, fact is, I didn't leave much to option, and that wasn't very fun.
In the upcoming storyline (which may have already begun for all you know) has a variety of possible outcomes that depend on how you handle it. Some situations will be best handled by plain old robustness. Others will require cleverness. But now you can do both. Just, be careful in deciding which method you use...
